Hmm, my mum, my maternal grandparents, my hubby & his family members are.. but, I think, different place & different surname from yours..
And, sorry to let you know, my "kampung" is in Hainan Island. Come to think of it, I don't think they welcome a female back, err, you know, they "berat sebelah" (for male only). As a female, our names are not listed in the record book but my cousins (male) names are and their middlename will show their generation ie my dad's Shi, my cousin's Kang etc. Anyway, my grandparents & my dad are not here anymore (passed away), therefore, no one can bring/show me the way back to "kampung". That's why, I envy you - can still go back "kampung". Maybe, as tourist, maybe.. :)
So, you so "cham ah" (sad)? All Hakka moi chais are in the cities.. Basically, what you saw are all old ladies la and no pretty moi chais, oh no.. :(

Wow, you went back to your "kampung" during CNY. With your family? Awesome! Are you from Hakka clan?
"Nie mou tung Hakka moi cheong Hakka san gor ah"? (did you sing Hakka mountain songs with Hakka girls).. :D
Is your name to be added onto the board too?
Thanks for the inspiration.. I'll visit my "kampung" too one fine day! :D
Yes, balik 'kampung'.
All Hakka moi chais are in big cities now !
The names inscribed are those contributed to construction of the kampung shrine/temple.
Check your clan's book/record, possibly (if you are a Hakka) we are related !
