Rest In Peace - Whitney

Whitney Houston

1963 - 2012

You can achieve
When you believe
Somehow you will
You will when you believe

I decided long ago, never to walk in anyone's shadows
If I fail, if I succeed
At least I live as I believe
No matter what they take from me
They can't take away my dignity

I found the greatest love of all
Inside of me
The greatest love of all
Is easy to achieve
Learning to love yourself
It is the greatest love of all

Anicca Vata Sankhara

"Death is as sure for that which is born, as birth is for that which is dead. Therefore grieve not for what is inevitable." - Bhagavad Gita.

Sister GG Tan

A sad notification received this morning from Bro Wong ...........

"....... It is sad and heart breaking to inform all thet Sister GG Tan had died in an accident in Ladakh.I write this mail with tears in my eyes and unable to sleep the whole night but manage to hold myself to forward this tragfis news to all in the early morning. The sad news is compounded by the loss of two other friends in the accident namely Sister Julie Ang (those travelled in pilgrimage tours may know her) and Sister Jenny, I knew recently.I have fond memories of Sister GG and always remember her good deeds in spearheading many of donations drive and also done many recording of Dhamma talks..…….The most sad things is the children in India and other poor places where all orphanages await for her smiling face and all the gifts she gathered from your generous contribution, distributing all pencils and gifts and substantial contribution to various schools.Just imagine, how sad it is for all children that the Queen of Dana is no longer around - just like the big tree has fallen and now that the children will suffer from the hot blazing heat of the sun, without the cooling shade of the motherly tree.Oh Sister GG! where you are, may you, sister Julie Ang and Sister Jenny be reborn the realm where the Dhamma flourish……..May Sister GG Tan, Sister Julie Ang and Sister Jenny attain the Supreme Bliss of Nibbana."
